France's Q2 2024 Roundup: Top Android Fitness & Weight Loss Apps

In the second quarter of 2024, the French Android market for Fitness and Weight Loss applications saw varied performances across the board. Data from Sensor Tower offers a closer look into how these apps fared during this period.

Macadam - Walk And Earn maintained a steady influx of downloads, starting the quarter with approximately 24K and seeing a dip towards the end with 14K. Weekly active users showed a positive trend, initially at around 283K and peaking at nearly 300K before settling at 294K.

Yuka - Food & Cosmetic Scanner generated revenue fluctuating between $2.5K and $4K throughout the quarter. The app experienced a slight decrease in downloads, from 22K to 17K, while the active user base remained robust, hovering around 400K for most of the quarter.

Step Counter - Pedometer showed modest revenue growth, albeit with small figures, peaking at $53 and ending the quarter at $21. Downloads peaked mid-quarter at around 16K, while weekly active users reached their highest at 66K, eventually decreasing to 57K.

komoot - hike, bike & run saw its revenue start strong at $17K, reaching a high of $22K and then closing the quarter at around $13K. Downloads began at 20K, dipped mid-quarter, and ended at 13K. The app's active users showed a spike in May with 318K but then stabilized to just over 240K by the end of June.

Finally, Strava: Run, Bike, Hike led the revenue chart with figures starting at $55K, peaking at $48K, and ending the quarter at around $40K. Downloads for Strava saw a peak of 17K in early May, while active users remained strong, starting at 586K and growing to 611K by the quarter's end.
